Risk and Advice Disclaimer

This app is a journal. It is not financial advice, and it cannot tell you what to trade.

This document is a template. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not final. Have a qualified professional review it before this app is offered to the public.

Nothing here is financial advice

This app is a record keeping and reflection tool. You log trades you have already taken, and it shows you patterns in your own history.

Nothing it displays is investment advice, financial advice, tax advice or legal advice. Nothing it displays is a recommendation, a signal, an offer or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. No statistic, score, grade or chart in this app is a reason to enter or exit a position.

We are not your broker or your adviser

We are not a broker, a dealer, an investment firm or a financial adviser. We are not authorised or supervised by Finansinspektionen or by any other financial regulator. Using this app creates no advisory or fiduciary relationship of any kind.

We never see your brokerage account, we never place orders, and we never hold money or assets for you.

The numbers are only as good as what you typed

Every statistic in this app is computed from values you entered by hand. Profit and loss, R multiples, win rate, profit factor, expectancy and drawdown all follow from your own inputs. A mistyped exit price produces a wrong statistic, and the app has no way to know.

Check your figures against your broker's statements. Those statements, not this journal, are the authoritative record of your trading and the correct basis for anything official such as a tax return.

Trading involves real risk

  • Trading can lose you money, including all of the money you put in.
  • Leveraged products such as futures, options and contracts for difference carry additional risk, and with some products your losses can exceed your deposit.
  • Past performance says nothing reliable about future results. A good run in your journal is not a forecast.
  • Statistics computed from a small number of trades are noise. The app marks low sample sizes where it can, but the judgement about whether a pattern is real remains yours.

Your decisions are your own

You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and their outcomes. If you need advice about your own situation, speak to a licensed financial adviser, and speak to a qualified tax adviser about tax. Consider whether you can afford the risk before you take it.
